SHEPHERD’S PIES : GROUND PORK AND GROUND TURKEY

1 lb lean ground turkey

1 organic butternut squash diced and mashed(or a frozen 450g bag)

1 cup organic green beans

1 tbsp salt½ tbsp pepper

1 tsp Herbes de Provence

1 lb Lean ground Pork

8 small organic sweet potatoes boiled (with or without skin)

2 cups organic peas, carrots and corn mixture

1 tbsp salt½ tbsp pepper

1 tbsp thyme


For both recipes, in 1 tbsp of coconut oil, fry meat until fully cooked in separate pans and add spices while meat is cooking.


When ready, add steamed vegetables on the bottom of the 9 “ glass casserole, then the meat topped with the sweet potato on the pork mixture and butternut squash on the turkey mixture.


Place in the preheated oven at 325 degrees on broil, place both inside and let brown for 6 minutes and ready to serve!
